Master of Commerce is a Post-Graduate course designed to give a complete preview of commerce and related subjects as per the requirements of the industry. Our program aims not only at acquisition of theoretical knowledge but also at implementing it by inculcating research culture among students and encouraging research papers, paper presentations, journal reviews from them. Corporate internship, industrial visit, workshop and teaching practice form an integral part of the program to make the students well equipped for future challenges.

The broad objective is to impart to the students, professional education and training in various aspects of business and its environment, and provide them with opportunities to develop managerial and analytical skills in order to meet the challenges of business at the national and global level.

Semester Scheme (4 Semester – 2 years)

Candidates with 50% marks in aggregate in Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in any stream of a recognized university are eligible for admission. SCHEME OF EXAMINATION & PASSING REQUIREMENT The University examination is conducted at the end of the academic year for a maximum of 100 marks for each paper with duration of 3 hours. A student shall be declared to have passed the examination if he/she secures not less than 35% of the maximum in each of the papers and 40% of the maximum in aggregate. A candidate who fails to secure the above minimum shall be given exemption in papers he/she has secured 40% of the maximum marks and above. A candidate failing in any subject will be permitted to appear again subject to the condition that he/ she has to complete the course within 3 years from the date of joining the course.
