Academy of Higher Learning established IQAC in the year 2011 before going for accreditation by NAAC in the year 2013-14. The institution wishes to create, develop and maintain quality conscious environment.

Objectives

The quality policy will be based on the following objectives

• To nurture the culture of continuous quality improvement in staff and students

• To ensure that the quality of programs organized by the college to meet the standards expected by the stake holders

• To ensure that the quality of programs offered by the college to meet the expectations of all concerned with respect to Institute’s policies, systems and processes for the development, maintenance and enhancement of quality standards

• To identify areas of strength and excellence as well as areas which require focused attention, for continuous improvement

Functions

• Inculcating quality culture in the institution

• Arrangement for feedback responses from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes

• Organization of inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles

• Facilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive for quality education and Provide regular training to faculty members to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning process

• Documentation of various programs/activities of the college, leading to quality improvement

• IQAC shall act as the Documentation and Record-Keeping cell

• Preparation the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) of the College based on the quality parameters/assessment criteria developed by NAAC in the prescribed format.
