Skill Development Cell: (“Kaushal Vruddhi Kendra”)

In the present context of globalization, the demand for skilled and multi skilled workers has increased. There is a critical need for quality skill development and training. However there is a gap in University Curriculum and Industry expectations of the skills required by the graduate students. AHL through its Skill Development Center tries to focus on these gaps and design certificate courses to make them industry competent.

AHL through its Skill Development Cell provides:

  •  A platform for identification of skill gaps
  •  Develop courses in order to bridge the gap between University curriculum and Industry requirements
  •  By creating opportunities for students to acquire the necessary skills
  •  Provide employable students to the industry

Activities of the Cell are:

  •  Plan skill development training programs
  •  Implementation of the program
  •  Monitoring the program
  •  Create tie ups with Institutions which are providing skill oriented programs

The Cell performs its activities through its members. The members are Chairman, Industry Expert from HR department, IQAC Coordinator, Placement Officer, Faculty member and Office Administrator.
